These free tours are a great insight into the show, with a trained guide to lead you around the exhibition and offer fascinating facts about the sculptures and the artists who created them. No bookings required; simply meet inside by the relevant sign, just beyond the entrance.

School tours

This is a very popular curriculum-linked learning programme for students from years one to 13. Teachers and their students can take an education tour and learn about the artists, explore the sculptures and get their imaginations firing. An hour at shapeshifter will translate to hours of post-visit classroom activity. Let a real life experience become the foundation of your term’s Visual Art and Literacy programme. It’s an event not to be missed, and if you book through The Dowse the tour is free!
